Girls Softball Wakes Up Peninsula
PVBA playoffs are under way with semifinal games schedule for Friday, March 2. Check out the photos.

The middle school sports season will start up again in a few weeks with volleyball and softball.
Tryouts are over and the snack-shack season is just around the corner. PVP Girls' Softball action has already begun and the Lighthouse snack shack is open for business!

The Stars and Shadows battled to the end during PVBA playoff action at Peninsula High last weekend. Playoff action will resume the weekend of March 3-4. Not much else going on during that weekend anyways . . .

Sea Kings Hold On For A Win
The largest girls' softball league in the South Bay held its Opening Day ceremonies at Cornerstone School last weekend with a Parade of Teams and games at all three softball diamonds.
The PVIS girls basketball team picked up a win over Miraleste, but like the boys' soccer team, won't be able to face the Ridgecrest Raiders during the winter sports season.
The PVIS boys' soccer team defeated Miraleste, 2-0, but looks like will skip playing Ridgecrest this season because of rain. (rain?)
The PVP Girls' Softball League has already began the spring sports season with competitive games. Boys are up next March 3rd.
